In May 2017, the FBI opened an unprecedented counterintelligence probe of President Trump as an agent of Russia. Nearly 8 years later, the FBI continues to conceal the basis for that investigation.
Kash Patel needs to declassify and publish the whole thing. We are TIRED of classification and redaction used to hide Deep State malfeasance. SUNLIGHT!
Agreed 100%! Kashmir Patel, if he is able to get Senate confirmation, can hopefully expose the whole corrupt scheme by elements of the FBI, CIA, Democratic Party, and their media allies, to delegitimize Trump’s election—which was essentially a soft coup attempt that failed. The totally manufactured Russia-gate hoax is perhaps the worst political scandal in our history and it’s exposure will reveal the true nature of our current national government as the world’s most powerful organized crime organization on Earth.
The 6-page document contains only two short paragraphs of significance. The first we already knew. The second shows that the investigation was explicitly scoped as a fishing expedition.
There's no denying that Trump appears to have a cushy relationship with Putin. I have to think that Trump is receiving some kind of quid pro quo as part of that relationship.
Why? He doesn't need any quid pro quo from him. Putin has nothing to offer him that he needs. Developing relationships with our adversaries is basic to good diplomacy.
No possible equal relationship can occur with other leaders, as the USA is assumed to be perfect and anyone else, especially designated enemies, must have evil intentions. No wonder that the world is in the state it is.
It might be that Patel declassifies these documents but I wouldn't hold my breath. The blob has a way of keeping on, amoeba-like oozing and flowing, over everything and everybody. We can hope, but... the main way of getting FOIA to actually work as intended is, once the "administrative path" is exhausted, as you've done, to file a complaint in court which eventually should lead to a District Judge reviewing the FBI's reasons for withholding the redacted info. Ever since Janet Reno's more open FOIA policy ended, the FBI was incentivized to withhold documents from FOIA requestors, requiring them to file FOIA lawsuits. Unfortunately the court process can take years.
Thank you for your persistence in exposing this chimera.

I don't think Putin would even listen to anyone from the West.
Very much like Biden and Xi Jinping?
