It was part of an earlier neocon deal made directly with the Saudis in return for the green light to do regime change in Iraq in 2003. The Iraq war could not proceed without this agreement. That deal provided for Sunni control to be later established in Syria. The war on Syria started in 2011 as a result of that deal.
The neocons are all Zionists. Everything they do is to benefit Israel and allow the US to remain the World’s only superpower with their “rules based order”. And of course, rule number one is …. Israel gets to keep all the land they stole from Palestine.
When Ukraine is defeated, ordinary Ukrainians will be looking to find who is at fault. … Therefore, neocons are trying to prolong this day of reckoning because there could be retribution against these people for leading Ukraine into this catastrophe. That is why the Zionists / neocon / globalists, like Biden and Blinken, that caused this catastrophe will continue, both in Ukraine and Syria, until they are forced to stop. Even if they kill another 500,000 Ukrainians, and another 500,000 Syrians, or bring the whole World down around them, like Samson, they will not stop.

This is a huge population of people.
