Aaron,I am rather troubled by the following claim. Maybe Helmer and Escobar ought to be given more attention: “The narrative leaves no doubt that Hersh’s source – if not the journalist himself – supports what is considered a lawful U.S. policy: to fight Russia’s “threat to Western dominance [in Europe].””

@ Aaron Mate

Thanks for the informed provision of Seymour Hersh's extraordinary article to your subscribers, and the thoughtful notice of his addition to SubStack's cadre of reliable and trustworthy journalists. It would be more than important for me, as an 8th+ generation USA citizen, if some of your peers herein would take a moment to formally welcome Mr. Hersh to the fold.

As Usual,

It is a compelling story and does seem to line up with what is known, not to mention how the U.S. had the biggest motive (and Biden said they would blow up the pipeline). I do wish that there would be evidence I could see and verify myself, instead of having to trust on Hersch's name and record alone. How do others feel about this?

Hersch is a pretty solid journalist with a history of breaking big stories (like the My Lai massacre during Vietnam), so I feel pretty confident his article is accurate.

Also, as you mentioned, the story makes a lot of sense. Anyone capable of putting aside how they feel about the US and Russia couldn't possibly think Russia is even a likely suspect after evaluating the statements, actions and interests of both sides. The only question really was whether the US itself did it, or if someone did it for us.

Yeah, I agree, but as more information comes out we'll hopefully be able to verify. I'm sort of taking this as one piece of the puzzle to be built on later.

I suspect Hersh's coverage of the Nordstream sabotage will get similar treatment as Nicholas Wade's coverage of the covid lab leak. Both written by very well respected journalists laying out embarrassing and damaging truths for the establishment. Rather than debate or engage with it, corporate media will pretend it does not exist. Baseless conspiracy theories to the end.

Pretty funny to see people turn into journalism fundamentalists demanding multiple named sources a week after "defense source" convinced all of them that China's latest spy technology is the hot air balloon.

If Hersh's report is true, the Biden administration won't ever let the Ukraine War end. They need the cover of their war propaganda that has corrupted the US and Western media. The only hope is that the alternate media that comprise the last of true journalism, form a critical mass of investigation that the world can't ignore.

The Russians aren't going to quit, either and right now they're winning.

you mean like the source for any information from the MSM these past 10 years? Funny how this 'trust me bro' reddit type meme comebacks have been posted EVERYWHERE where Hersh's story gets traction. Almost like its all the bots and NPCs can come up with to obfuscate the logical conclusion for their bullshit propaganda narrative.

You need help. It's not normal to get so worked up over this kind of stuff that you run around responding to nearly every person's comments in here and telling them to "give Putin a rimjob" while calling them "dumb freaks" and "dumb cunts."

How's Biden's Diarrhea? It's kinda dropping off your lips

Thanks, Aaron. I read it with disgust, with more than I even already had, in abundance, for our fearless leader (total creep).

I would like the media to announce in advance what their reaction will be if the Biden Administration's decisions lead the use of nuclear weapons. Because I know after the fact they will say it was actually a good thing, so I want them on the record before it happens.

Brilliant, Aaron - I used to follow Hersh years ago, and am very glad to see that he's still very much active. Your endorsement of the article gives it even more weight, but I fear that he'll be subjected to viscious smear-jobs now in order to try to discredit him.

Of courses they will. But they're desperate now. They are going to slip up big.

Blowing up NS2 was the right call, glad it happened.

Playing by the same rules as Putin, who didn't wait for an invite to attack Kherson, is the right call, every time.

Similarly, we should give the Ukes the ATACMs to blow up bridges in Voronezh and Rostov, and do it soon, orcs only understand this language, they need to pay more.

In case this idiotic blowhard manages to survive a barrage of Russian nukes on the US, I wonder if he will ever retract from his infantile warmongering.

S. Hersh's revelation has confirmed that the US was behind the explosion of the pipeline.

This is not to mention that Germany was warned by the CIA of a possible attack on the pipelines weeks in advance.

“But isn’t Germany the ally of the US? Why would the US betray its ally?,” you might ask.

Yes, it’s an ally of the US, but only on the papers. In practice, the US only has interests.

If attacking Germany’s energy infrastructure comes up with the possibility that the US can maintain its imperial hegemony over the world, only an idiot would believe that the US won’t do it because Germany is “an ally.” That’s as childish as thinking the lion would prefer grass over meat.

I also have a newsletter called THE GREAT AWAKENING - which talks about the various ways we are propagandized by the powerful to keep turning the gears of the status quo, which is bringing us closer to total disaster either through climate change or nuclear war. It also talks about how EGO is the root cause of everything that's wrong in our world today.

Thank you, Aaron! My question is - will this also lead to a reassessment of the role of the USA in Ukraine? And how much of this will be picked up by MSM. We surely live in a strange times! The impunity of it al”!
