I think my wishes are going to be realized. When I discussed Trump vs. Biden support for Gaza, I said, “at least there is a chance that Netanihau will piss off Trump and the support for the genocide will end”. I hope that’s it!
Peace is possible and always was, in the sense that the Israeli war crimes and genocide would not be possible without the blank check for US military aid, and US "diplomatic cover" - including violent repression of protesters within the US, and even pseudo-legal threats against international courts. Therefore it is nominally within the power of the US executive to halt the indispensable ingredient to these crimes.
But in a political sense, the only thing expected from the Trump Admin is another PR stunt. "Personnel is policy" as goes the saying. Trump's appointees are overwhelmingly Israel-first.
Unfortunately, the only credible and physical progress towards peace visible in the story, at this point in time, is that made by Yemen's Ansar Allah - as they have apparently managed to deter the US Navy, while maintaining a selective blockade of the Suez Canal ! But despite this, they are too far away to stop Israel from continuing in its undisguised effort to wipe out 2 million people it doesn't like on the basis of their religion.
"Ansar Allah...has agreed to stop disrupting shipping vessels in protest of Israel’s Gaza siege..."
This is not true. The ceasfire applies only to US ships:
"The Yemeni Armed Forces’ spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, also confirmed in a televised statement late Wednesday, that the movement will continue its ban on Israeli ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea..."
We’ll see if the embarrassment of unimaginable proportions,that has stained the last refuge of good will this world has to offer; can now come to pass. The Creator’s belligerent children chosen to lead, have for thousands upon thousands of years continuously refused to tend gently the garden. Once was too many times, and yet their addiction towards the instruments of slaughter yet again, have dug scars into the conscience of our landscape that continue to resurface like a bloated corpse upon a sea of blood stained iniquity.
Now this.... much too little...way too late...
The Genocide and the damage done will haunt the participants and the resistance. Scaring memories with battlefield tales void of glory; and sadly no victory ever conclusively manifests into a perpetual peace.
Not unless the purifying of the mind is diligently sought can we ever sort this ignorance out. May we all begin the most difficult but primal work... journey towards the within; and along the way, in the stillness of conscious awareness, recognize the tools to honor all equally and begin to practice the peaceful processes of a negotiated love for every form that exists within the Creator’s unity of diversity.
I weep because the cowardice of the collective leadership during the accumulated days of my waking state; have been such abject failures at creating good will among men. They manufacture the ghoulish nightmares of a hegemonic dream state; from which their compromised principles leave us too tired to awaken from. I judge them wanting for integrity and dignity. Who among us can actually believe anything that they offer up as dialogue with meaningful intentions.
Admit it... Never Again happened before, Never Again, happened Again, and Never Again exists in the now.
End the Genocide immediately.
End the blockade of all life giving provisions.
Feed the starving organically, purify the water sources, heal the wounded, and bind up the broken-hearted.
Free the people of Palestine with a lasting self autonomy.
Return all that was stolen since the Mandate
And every believer of Jesus... the majority of who’s members have protested with the weakest of whimpers...left wanting again for a selfish promised rapture; while the need of the moment stares you in the eyes ....demand that his gospel of peace and love open up a new chapter between the nations of this war torn landscape.

I think the only reason Ansar Allah was attacking US ships was because the US was attacking them, so the US got nothing.
