Of course sanctions weren't removed- why remove the boot from the neck, when you can continue to use it for leverage? Who cares about the effects on the people- any chaos is a bonus.

I cringe at the thought of the level of abject groveling to the Empire that will be required to get them removed. Will probably partially remove the harpoon, some sort of suspension/lessening- I question the US governments ability to get around to fully removing any punishing action on anyone. Led by incompetent, dumb, greedy people, with little effective public complaint, doubt it.

The Empire of lies. Who knows maybe all empires operate that way? The great lie of American exceptionalism needs to be exposed.

My Alawhite friend Ghazwan, - he has sold me 20 Dodge vehicles - started crying when I asked him about friends and family back in Damascus. Really crying, a grown man, it shook me up.

WHY exactly was he selling 20 Dodge vehicles?

I own a company with a fleet of 120 vehicles and choose to do the vehicle purchases myself. (I like cars).

I was unhappy with my old dealership and switched to a new one that Ghazwan works for.

I have purchased 10 dodge Durangos and 10 jeep grand Cherokees plus a couple minivans and a hellcat. He tells me I’m his biggest customer. He’s just some new Canadian trying to make this way, that’s all. Honest and organized guy, so he is much to my liking.

He is terrified for his parents. Alawites put the boots to a lot of people.

I think this sounds like greed.

How much did you sell these cars for?

Greed? Strange comment.

They are cars used by a company in the normal course of business. They are purchased for $55k and sold two years later with 100,000 miles on them for $10-$12k. They are driven by employees in the performance of their duties.

Firstly thank you Aaron for your continuous reporting.

I suppose this is a question of which I think I know the answer to BUT...............

Why is it that the USA are using 'terrorists' to overtake a Sovereign country?

IS it because the USA is terrified of introducing the draft?

People on substack are not stupid.

Introduce the population to go out and fight wars in the name of US Empire?

We the people want peace NOT eternal war.

Syria will be a Libya in the Levant, partitioned between Israel, Turkey and the U.S.

Flashpoints remain Latakia and Rojava. No end to the fighting is likely for the foreseeable future.
