The US government does not negotiate with terrorists. It is too busy arming and training them.

Thanks Aaron! Mark Twain is purported to have said: “History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes." It's amazing how as you uncover these details and connect the dots, how similar the playbook is.

"We needed plausible deniability in case the arms got into the hands of al-Nusra," a former senior administration official told the New York Times in 2013.

More reasons to keep Julian Assange silenced and tortured like a terrorist... targeting the permanent war machine and presstitutes that protect them is Washington's only aim.

@ PamelaDrew 👀⁉

It makes sense to posit the Mate quote as an overt exposure of "Washington's" hypocrisy, especially regarding the persecution of Julian Assange, but exactly how (one cited example would be great👌) does claiming "targeting the permanent war machine and presstitutes that protect them is Washington's only aim.", make any concurrent sense❔

As Usual,

Sounded a lot clearer in my mind at the time but it is muddled and harder to guess my point than Kamala's babbling. Let's see what reworking can do for improvement...

More reasons to keep Julian Assange silenced and tortured like a terrorist... Julian targeting the permanent war machine and presstitutes that protect them made punishing him Washington's unified aim....

Big time thanks for asking.. like I <3 Lucy.. got some splainin' to do! :~)

@ PamelaDrew 👍

Your acknowledgement is very welcomed, especially in the current climate of hyperbolic co-mingling of issues; far too often complicated by sophomoric attempts to garner attention by obsessive/compulsive disparagement of opposing opinions.

Before submitting my initial reply I visited one of your SubStack offerings, "Alarms For Global Human Rights ~ The Crucifixion of Assange Empire's Biggest Sinner", and noted your mentioning that amongst the many attending the subject occasion was Margaret Kunstler. Having myself been the grateful beneficiary of the brilliant legal assistance of her deceased husband Bill Kunstler in the 1960's, it occurred to me that the ghost of his imparted wisdom regarding the "dire importance of the unvarnished truth in all things" compelled a gentile reminder herein😎.

Good luck with your photographs and prose⁉👀

Oh thanks.. kinda old fashioned and try to live by the rule there's never a good excuse for bad behavior though my Irish temper does sometimes make it a challenge. Margaret is great we worked together on some of he early WikiLeaks hacktivist cases along with her first husband the brilliant late Michael Ratner.. it's been an odd gift to have so many incredible folks involved along the way with the activism and pics my most fun piece! :~)

Good concise read. Aaron may I suggest traveling in separate planes for Taibbi, Greenwald, Hedges, and yourself? Invaluable reporting from you all, thanks.

There will come a time when we will be forced to recognized with the horrors, we inflicted on the world in the name of "protecting Democracy". Our leaders need to be held accountable for their war crimes. We cannot allow this type of lawlessness to continue on the world stage.

This is a magnificent compilation of history, most of which I didn't know. I found out about the transfer of Libya's arsenal to Syrian US-backed rebels when I researched my piece on Victoria Nuland (https://thirdparadigm.substack.com/p/victoria-nuland-is-dolores-umbridge). But there's so much more! Thank you for such thorough research. I've posted a link to it on Caitlin Johnstone's Substack and will keep referring back to it. It's a major piece of the puzzle.

Just Crazy and most Americans don’t even believe us so I have no idea what’s going on. Just insanity and now Biden can’t even complete a sentence and so is being manipulated even further

An amazing expose’ from a single independent journalist. Thank you for the great work, Aaron. With all the enormous resources available to the MSM, stories such as this one are never reported by them. It has become increasingly clear that the MSM’s mission when it comes to reporting on foreign policy is to cover up the crimes of our political/ military/ intelligence/and foreign policy elite, while misleading the American public as to the true nature of our Empire.

Just excellent!

It leaves no ground (including territory that's been occupied) for the U.S. to stand on. We've been aiding and abetting the very people whom we've called our enemies in the Forever Wars, in order to topple Assad.

And the dogeared playbook is being used once more to support Neo-Nazis in Ukraine...

Is US Security apparatus working, together with Daily Beast, WaPost, NYT, on locating journalist Gonzalo Lira in Kharkov?

Have they contributed to his “disappearance” by Ukrainian Nazi government secret service?

Mr. Lira just published a list of other “disappeared” prominent Ukrainians…

@ Boris Petrov 🕸👀

The apps know where he is Boris😜.

"Last year, the New York Times reported that the Defense Intelligence Agency “buys commercially available databases containing location data from smartphone apps and searches it for Americans’ past movements without a warrant,” a surveillance method now regularly practiced throughout the Pentagon, the Department of Homeland Security, the IRS, and beyond."

We're all being watched, the ostensible "public servants" are in control.🤣

Aaron any thoughts on the US signing a WHO agreement to relinquish sovereignty in response to another pandemic?

Any thoughts on WEF/Great Reset?

Any thoughts on 190-nations all parroting Build Back Better and pushing fascism on a Biomedical Security Model?

Any thoughts on Johns Hopkins perfecting "self spreading" and "self amplifying" vaccines? Which will eliminate all consent, informed or otherwise?

Any thoughts on the exp. mRNA injections having negative efficacy on the Omicron variants, making people who are jabbed MORE Likely to become ill or die? Which Geert Vanden Bossche tried to warn us about?

Any thoughts on the push for digital IDs, digital currency, and social credit scores using "vaccine passports" as an entry vehicle?

Any thoughts on the rising all cause mortality rates which are now spanning into 2022?

Any thoughts on your friend Jimmy Dore's vaccine injuries. Did you know that in one year more people are dead from the exp. injections than from all the prior well tested vaccines COMBINED in the prior 31-years of tracking?

This whole issue sent Ben Norton packing, didn't it? Turned other Dore pals, Jim Earl and Graham Elwood into spiteful and malicious people who demonize those who did some research.

Just wanted to see if you had any thoughts on any or all?

or on what happened to your native Canada. "We penetrate their Cabinets". Klaus.

It's like there is a whole giant universe of stuff going on...and many fine truth seekers such as yourself, Greenwald, and Taibbi, would prefer not to cover it.

Is this a correct perception on my part?

Hillary Clinton knowingly sold out the women of Libya and Syria to fanatically misogynist, religious extremists. Qaddafi and Assad had secular regimes at least. How can anyone call her a feminist? And why keep at it in Syria after the abject failure of Libya?
