Aaron, I appreciate your subtitle stating “the Biden administration” - as Joe Biden has not been running his administration for a long time now, nor is he even capable of it.

Maybe not, but it sure sounds like he is, since he has always pushed wars, and was a strong advocate for all our middle eastern wars, even pushed them down the throats of his fellow democrats in the Senate. If he isn't calling the shots this time, he certainly has on board those who hold the same neocon perspective. Blinken is one of those. I hear the neocons slipped over to the Biden side of the tracks before the 20/20 election.

I wonder what you and others think about this. The Israeli government has the plans implemented by Hamas a year before and dismiss them as just too complicated for them to carry out. Guards who monitor Gaza report suspicious behavior, like Hamas is digging lots of holes, and they dismiss that with, oh, they're probably gardening. Egypt warns of an impending attack 2 days before it happens, dismissed. The Iron dome, I think they call it, is known not to be fully protective of the Israeli's on the other side and so military are needed as well, but no military guards that night and when called after Hamas broke through no response till hours later. Everyone seems to shrug off these warnings. and attribute it to ineptitude. In my mind maybe they were wanting this attack. Don't forget they also killed a couple of hundred of their own during their confrontation with Hamas. Everyone moving is a target, etc. No one ever suggests maybe Israel wanted this to happen. Conspiracy theory? Maybe not. In 2022 with Netanyahu's and his extreme right wing party's win, well they came down hard on the West Bank and it too is on the way out, and one of the reason's Hamas gave for it's attack.

I have actually said this Fran many times and so have others.

I swear I never heard others on sub-stack say this, good to know because all that write on this topic dismiss as a conspiracy theory. I think i't something that needs to be looked at now, not as Netanyahu says, later.

The war machine drum couldn't beat any louder.

The duopoly war machine: could it get us any closer to a nuclear outcome? Biden has never shown any retraint when it comes to war.

We need restraint. We need a peace candidate on the ticket in Nov. To date only Jill Stein has stepped up in this regard.

Also Cornel West but he'll have big problems getting on state tickets.

Expand full comment

Cornell West has also condemned Israel's aggression and I plan to vote for him. I know he's not going to win but everyone else is repulsive. I predict Trump will get elected again and this is might be the plan for the Democrats -- provide a fall guy for this mess in the Middle East, end Ukrainian support, face spiraling inflation and mass illegal immigration, and provide all the love and care for the Zionists that they could hope for without getting blamed. His son-in-law was interviewed (and I saw it, not just read about it) about real estate opportunities in Gaza once "it was cleared out." So anyone foolish enough to think Trump is going to put a stop to it is kidding themselves.

Expand full comment

Jill Stein is not repulsive. However, the Green Party is not on the ballot in all states.

Expand full comment

She's on the ballot in 21 States and growing. Here in Massachusetts she needs 10,000 signatures to get on the ballot. The states make it extremely hard for 3rd parties to get on the ballot. Blame the duopoly for that.

It would be nice, but she isn't going to win, and if she did I wonder whether there is anyone who can stop the US war machine. God the military industrial complex is making out big time again with that Biden win.

Agree Trump is no friend of diplomacy over war. West was kinda on the Green ticket than chose to go the Independent route. Jill is on the ballot in 21 states and growing. If enough folks "figure out"? the 2 party duopoly ain't working she could have a chance. I would like to see a Jill/Kucinich ticket.

Well, Trump certainly was far from perfect, and Mate always has to make sure you know it. However, no new wars under Trump. In an off handed interview he was asked by a number of reporters about war in general and he responded, "They are stupid, and kill millions of people and cost millions." I saw the clip but I bet they destroyed it. Too bad they didn't let him get along with Russia.

Trump may initially say one thing, then backs down and does the opposite. RFK Jr. has great plans to restore Americas economy, healthcare, environment, and restoring our US Constitution to it's former glory. He wants to close down bio labs and many overseas military bases.

Expand full comment

I don't believe it you imagine rfkj who has promised to increase support for the zionist genocide will bring world peace. You are either ignorant, foolish or deluded as if he did win the world would explode from the reaction to his unabashed amerikan/zionist imperial stupidity.

I want a president that will make every effort to loose the stranglehold of the pharmaceutical industry on American's healthcare and who is focusing on the massive problems in our country. If you have read RFK Jrs. book, The Real Anthony Fauci, you would know how deeply he understands this problem. The Covid BioWeapon has killed over 20 million people worldwide, injured and killed millions of Americans. Edward Dowd continues to report on the numbers of vaccine injury, disability, and death. RFK Jrs. vision is 20/20 on this topic. https://usawatchdog.com/government-media-pretending-massive-health-crisis-not-going-on-ed-dowd/

The atrocities in Israel have been going on for 70 years and are finally getting more global attention. Max Blumenthal, Aaron Mate, Judge Napolitano and others do excellent reporting on this ongoing tragedy.

Having a different opinion than you does not render me any of the names you called me.

Had RFK Jr. not gone all dollally tap and instead chosen Kucinich as his running mate (RFK's stance on Israel is most likely why Kucinich quit the campaign) we might actually be looking at peace not only in the middle east but throughout the world!

It really is a shame RFK had so many right and possible answers - removing the corruption at all the alphabet agencies - closing all the bases throughout the world and the list went on and on and on until I guess, the recognition went to his head and that ended THAT!

RFK? A moron. Just because he has the Kennedy name the Americans get all out ridiculous.

Hey Jen how are ya?

In the beginning he really did appear to be the savior we'd all been hoping for. He talked about exactly WHO he'd get rid of on Day One. Unlike anyone else he actually named names! I don't don't vote never did nor ever will the entire system is completely corrupt but he gave me hope. They knew he was a threat and someone got to him.

Dear BJ. How are YOU?

Sorry BJ I saw him being interviewed oh......months ago and had to turn it off.

I think you will know when you have the right person BUT I don't see anyone at the moment.

This was in the very, very beginning during Covid. He was extremely candid. The two words used most to describe him were genuine and honest. I truly believe he had absolutely no intention of running for anything and that his disdain for government really caught on and resonated with all which kinda sent him into the stratosphere. I said to everyone he's going to run because out of the clear blue he switched his highly starched denim shirts for shirts and ties. I think he realized what he had tapped into. He had quite the following and really captured the anger of everyone. Hence his enormous following - but then everything went pear shaped and you saw the rest! It's continued to get worse and worse - Kucinich had a great line - Bobby can't be bought or bullied! But then obviously he was. Good talking with you again!!

Expand full comment

rfkj needed a funding source for his campaign and he took the easy way out by approaching a couple of rich zionists first, ones scared about trump's 'reliability' and concerned Biden's obvious incapacity would cost the dims the election. That was kennedy's choice no one "forced it upon him".

frankly I dunno why anyone with even half a brain bothers about elections as it has been demonstrated time and time again that anybody able to get on the ticket in sufficient states to win election is by definition 100% unsuitable for the job. Why? Cos in order to get in the position of being able to win the person must be able to lie cheat, bribe, blackmail and politic sufficiently well to be in with a chance, even old Alfred E Neuman was only on the NY ballot.

Voting changes nothing, if it could change anything it would be illegal.

Expand full comment

Totally agree Debs! He took the easy way out rather than following the path of Bernie Sanders who really tapped into a grass roots movement. RFK could've made it as there is no better time than now for a third candidate! Instead he blew it - BIG TIME! The one thing I learned is just how weak he is - insecurity goes hand and hand with the severely addicted which at one time he was. He is so craven - look how he kowtowed to the Israel when right now the entire world supports Palestine. All he need to do was to stand up to the Israel lobby because the rest of his platform really resonated. Instead like you say he took the east way out. He really had it made - the mere fact he rose to such enormous popularity solidified it. Not to mention how the media had the knives out!

Regarding voting no truer words were ever spoken - the government you have today is the direct result of choosing the lesser of TWO EVILS for generations. You have a better chance of changing the weather by farting than changing the government by voting! Read John Funds books to understand just how pervasive voter FRAUD is! Read the Moter Voter Act!

Expand full comment

Deb, I just caught this in the NY Post - not that I believe a scintilla of anything the media says and merely that I stay abreast of it. I don't even own a TV. Nothing pissed me off more than instead of staying true to his convictions he started the placating shit! Had he remained steadfast on the issues both parties agreed upon (no one was better suited and more capable to staunch the massive corruption and malfeasance) censorship etc., he would've won. The fact that he sold his morale's spoke volumes.

Excellent editorial Aaron.

There are many of us who see through the 'lies' and propaganda but we are a small bunch of people.

MY question to you is: when will this stop?

I think it is obvious to a few of us that the US has NO hope of winning a war against Russia or China. So are they going to pick away at the middle east in so-called aid to Israel?

One suggestion Aaron: I don't think the news is getting out about the 1000's of Palestinian prisoners held in Jail in Israel with no trial. The conditions are awful and they are chained to the ground most of the time. Maybe you could bring it up at some point..

Thanks

History IS bunk these days for the US and her dumb allies, so there is no connection between the US and UK's sponsored coup and installation of the Shah in the early 50s and the Iranian revolution in 1979 (when has disastrous blowback not happened when the US "meddled" in another state's affairs?). So for sick, lying hacks like Kirby Israel's attack on the Iranian embassy has nothing to do with it, at best it was long ago. Just like the US and her lackeys' wrecking of Russia in the 90s, not to mention fixing their elections, is ancient history (if that's still a word in Washington - probably not, as these psychopaths look forward to creating their "reality" along with AI and their media arm, Google, WP NYT and the rest of them).

Aaron, I hope you don't if mind if I rewrite your closing paragraph-- Under US the pathocracy, the violence will continue until the empire goes into full collapse– and “quiet” – has been restored in the world. No amount of money or wars will extricate them from the mess they have made.

I’m with you Fran. Even if Biden was cognitively clear, him lining up and facilitating the wishes of the military industrial complex is automatic. So maybe it’s a distinction without a difference on whether he’s calling the shots now or not. I just happen to believe that all of his neurons are not holding hands anymore.

I don' t think they are either. In this regard he reminds me of my mother. Lots she could understand but not with all the complexity she once did. Remember when Biden went to Russia, maybe with Blinken, and they're really talking it up about Ukraine and how it needs support and Biden says Putin's got to go, and gave their game away. He forgot he wasn't suppose to say that and let people in on their real agenda.

Let’s get the Biden Administration to focus on the criminal charges they so rightly deserve. 18 U.S. Code § 1091 is the statute that incorporated the Genocide Convention in US criminal law. Members of this administration shouldn't go a single day without having this statute in their faces, up front and center at every protest at every meeting, press conference, briefing, and trips home and abroad.

They may feel they are immune now, but let's get them considering what is possible when they leave office, given they have set the precedent of charging former presidents. They should have visions of prison all the days of their lives. Let us find the way.

Hello David. I see things differently.

The US knows they cannot win against Russia or China so they will pick away at the middle east in the hope that Russia will come to the aid of one of them.

NO dice.

Putin is too smart to bother with US politics.
