There is only one political party in the US (the duopoly) and its unitary foreign policy goal is consistent from decade to decade: to achieve and extend world empire, humanity be damned. Just understand that and all the day-to-day details make complete sense.
To me it doesn't matter who said what, or the reasons given, since it is meaningless! If Iran wasn't on Netanyahu's hitlist, and AIPAC no longer had the high degree of control over our political elected leaders and their agenda this topic would not even be under discussion. Yes Obama tried to implement peace in regard to Iran, but Netanyahu paid him a visit, but to no avail for a while but sooner or later ass kisser Trump came on the scene, but it could have been during the Biden administration with it's neocons in control, and would have been all too willing to help but they were side tracked by Israel's genocide. Just read put us in the hole for 25 billion so far and needed much more at home.
The more we get to see the true nature of America's "real" foreign policy, the more disgusting it becomes. The only heartening thing I see on the horizon is much of the world moving away from US domination. There was an old saying, "Don't shit in your own feedbag"; America has been doing so with more frequent regularity since the 1950s, and our former allies are seeking alternate nutrition.
Our 21st century Middle Eastern wars have all been done to benefit Israel and perhaps indirectly the US, or so some might think. The only one I know who truly spelled that out for the American people was Jeffery Sachs when being interviewed by Tucker Carlson. I've heard him reference it in a number of interviews, but others seem to be less explicit in that regard. Netanyahu spelled it out in his 1995 book Fighting Terrorism and many that were on his hit list are now gone, Libya, Iraq, Syria, etc. Those who proceeded Trump were smart enough to avoid targeting Iran. Israel wants a fragmented Middle East, and that is, and has been her agenda. If you look at the degree of fragmentation in Syria, Lebanon, etc. you'll get the idea. It was Netanyahu that helped drive us into war with Iraq claiming they were on their way to producing nuclear weapons. Biden a proclaimed. and dutiful Zionist pushed that lie down the throats of his fellow democrats.
Jeffrey Sachs is not the only voice in the wilderness. Look for interviews with the likes of John Mearsheimer, Alistair Crooke, and Chas Freeman to gain a real insight to the powers that drive America's foreign policy. These folks are regularly on the Judging Freedom Podcast with Andrew Napolitano. Judge Nap, a former FOX News commentator, is kind of a pain in the ass, but his guests are excellent.
Not saying they are unaware, or do not acknowledge this truth, but rarely if ever do they really spell it out. They may reference Netanyahu in terms of the Iraq war, but do you think most, even those interested in politics, realize during the Obama regime he did Israel's biding by trying to topple the Assad regime in a war called Timber Sycamore? Did you ever really here that during his regime we implemented a coup in Ukraine which ultimately was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions? How many people know the Iraq war was pushed by Netanyahu, and that Biden pushed the lie on his fellow democrats as chair of the foreign relations comm? Most do not address these issues or how the US came to do Israel's bidding and just how much we are AIPAC's whore, and the degree of control they have. People may reference it, but the message is really never brough home. Even when it comes to Trump who is not provided the same cover, you don't here we are fighting this war for Israel, who has had Iran in her sites for decades.
Fran, yes the people who Ed Protas mentioned do spell it out. And there are others in the West and around the world. Many at risk. Have media content controled by the algorythm, deleted or blocked, are threatened or smeared, lose their jobs, have their equipment taken, searched or destroyed, threatened with death.... Ed Protas did mention they are voices "in the wilderness", meaning the vast majoriy remain propagandized, indoctrinated, silenced, afraid or apathetic, and on the other hand, paid handsomely to distort the truth. Yet they are voices "in the wilderness' that know what you know. Aaron Mate is incredibly good at it.
No they don't. and I am Mearsheimer's sub-stack as well as Mate's, and the connection between wars implemented during the Bush/Cheney years to the present is not made, and if they know it they are not being very forthright.
I am referring to the plural, "interviews with the likes of." (Ed Protas) Max Blumenthal has been on Judging Freedom. He certainly knows and expresses whatever he is able to. I am Canadian; raised In India. An example of American schoolmates in India who are accutely aware and express it, is Margaret K. Lives in Jordan; worked for Jordan's King Most everyone in her Middle East region knows the connection of the Bush wars to the present because their news is not so censored, says she. She quotes me numerous American as well as other sources. Aaron Mate also. I agree that no one knows everything and/or expresses everything they know.
I have no idea as to why in your opin you state the USA is vehemently oppossed to the current Iranian system of governing. Why the hell should we care one way or the other. It's their system and it's up to those from within to change it either incrementally or thru revolutionary methods. Leave them alone and stop bullying them. Let's fix us first before throwing stones at other systems.
US Treasury Secretary Bessent admiting before Congress, he was implementing US Policy to make Iran's currency the Rial worthless since March of 2025.
It was with the deliberate intention to make the lives of ordinary Iranians the US claims to cares for so much, so difficult and poor, it would drive therm into the streets to protest like they did in December.
US MSM, Propagandists for the US WAR like a 5th Horseman of the Apocalypse, never show this video over and over again, so the US Public would see how malevolent the US is, not only with Iran, but with the Global Economy.
If the Iranian blockade of Hormuz caused an inflationary contraction of the Global Economy, with Trump's illegal secondary blockade of Hormuz, the longer it lasts will only serve to hasten the collapse of the Global Economy.
That's Damocles Sword hanging over Trump's head!
Iran WILL NOT unconditionally surrender to Trump's Dictatorial demands!
Thanks, Aaron, for reminding us who we Americans actually are. Well, most of us. OK, most of THEM. It's so sad that the average American hates all this war-mongering and yet is forced to foot the bill. And it's so ironic that we profess to deplore Iran's "evil" regime when it's our own regime that is evil and, worse, pretends that it seeks to spread virtue when in fact the goal is to control global resources, especially oil. Yes, Bibi is running Trump but don't forget who decided that Israel should exist in the first place and then forced Jews to survive in, of all places, Palestine . . and why.
Seymour Hersh says Israeli insiders tell him Trump wants to pay off Iran with $25 billion in return for opening the Strait to all traffic. An Israeli insider said Trump is obtuse. That at least is true.

Israel is hammering a nail in the US Empire coffin.
