I agree with The Judge that Aaron's knowledge about the topic is encyclopedic. I always learn something new when Aaron appears on Judge Napolitano's show.

You know that I was born in a big oil town, and therefore, I understanding that fossil fuel is what US currency is based on. People who are not elderly like myself do not know what our US history is in regards to what is, say that we cannot move beyond the combustible engine as Judge Napolitano tells people, indeed though we already have as Elon Musk has demonstrated.

In Jimmy Carter’s presidency, Saudi Arabia boycotted the US with oil restrictions because of the way Americans treated the Palestinians, and at that time the US was receiving most their gasoline from the Middle East. This was when American vehicles used unleaded regular gasoline, predated the catalytic converter. The rolling smog was so bad in California that that catalytic converter was created. The catalytic converter doesn’t stop pollution, it just hides it.

This time of course jump stated oil exploration and drilling in the US, and then, low and behold a very real glut of oil development in the market (circa 1984) causing a very ugly collapse so catastrophic Exxon joined with Mobile as other oil companies did likewise to prevent over production.

There was an oilman by the name of Thomas Boone Pickens whom predicted the “glut” of oil that moved into wind generated electricity because Exxon’s own geologists quit Exxon because he knew that fossil fuel was responsible for global warming. Exxon CEO hired scientist and paid them to form a different opinion. This was on the nightly new before American news was compromised.

Sy Hersh has in interesting take on the Iranian response.

A MILITARY SOLUTION TO A POLITICAL PROBLEM

How the Pentagon engineered a fake war to prevent a real one

Throughout the process, Pentagon leaders were assembling their plan without formally consulting President Biden or anyone in the White House. “The White House only knew that the Iranians” wanted to respond in kind to the Israelis, the official said. At that early point in the military planning, he added, “the White House had no need to know more.” It was believed that there would never be formal approval for such a radical strategy, although Biden, to his credit, when later told that the Ayatollah had agreed to mute his revenge, publicly joined in urging the Israelis not to respond to the failed Iranian missile attack.

Thanks, Aaron and -- a really good tweet:

Endorsing Biden because you see Trump as an existential threat makes no sense. Replacing Biden with a sharp, anti-corruption candidate would be the thing to do in that case. The fact that the DNC won’t replace Biden with RFK Jr. tells us their real fear is an end to their racket.
