They are probably thinking what anyone living in the real world is thinking : This new occupation, under the moniker “Peace Council” or whatever Trump calls it, will go the way all illegal, unwanted, belligerent occupations go : badly, sooner or later. The Russians and Chinese are giving the US enough rope… as the saying goes, to hang itself. Even if, and that’s a BIG IF, they somehow ‘disarm Hamas’, oppression ALWAYS gives rise to resistance. The new resistance, even if it were not Hamas, would seek and obtain weapons and equipment. There are plenty of regional actors, State, non-State and illegal, who will readily supply them with the necessary weapons. Even if every single member of Hamas left Gaza, however improbable, new resistance fighters will take their place. Hamas and the other resistance factions are made up almost entirely of orphaned men, whose parents were murdered by the occupation. Yahya Sinwar, a notable example. Now, after two years of mass murder, a genocide, there is an innumerable number of orphans with hate in their hearts and a grudge to settle.
The US are walking into a small version of Vietnam. Only this time it’s not farmers taking up arms against them and WINNING, it’s men & women hardened by two years of hell.
It’s not ideal, obviously, but Russia and China can only watch while it happens, then - hopefully - pick up the pieces along with the overwhelming majority of mankind and step in to help the Palestinians.
These politicians have really earned their scumbag titles; in fact, they've exceeded them. That was a painful read, and I can't deny how angry and bitter I feel thinking about these vultures erasing the future of countless Palestinians while planning for their own future investments.
I searched for one sign of human decency in this article, but all I could find was betrayal, sheer greed, and a feeling of uncertainty as to whether Palestinians will ever receive justice and be free of Israel and Zionism.

Waiting until THE DAY AFTER this Prophecy of Isaiah in the same Chapter 66 is fulfilled, will be too late.
For, behold, the LORD will come with FIRE, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with FURY, and his rebuke with flames of FIRE.
For by FIRE and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
